Roasted sweet potatoes are filling and are loaded with nutrients. Here is a no-fail recipe on how to make them in 30 minutes.

  • 4 medium sweet potatoes
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper

Directions for Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 °F.
  2. Rinse the sweet potatoes well. Cut away any brown spots. Cut each sweet potato in half lengthwise. That means there should two longer halves for each sweet potato.
  3. Pat dry with paper towel.
  4. Using your hands, rub each piece with oil.
  5. Placed on a cookie sheet lined with foil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until the sweet potato flesh is tender.
