What IS a meatball? Is it just a cooked, rolled up ball of ground beef and spices that you eat with spaghetti? Well, yes; but that's just one of the many ways to prepare and enjoy meatballs. There are actually many more recipes you can make with meatballs as a featured ingredient! If you're tired of the same old tried and true, why not spice up your meal plans and flex your culinary muscle? Here's a list of ideas to get the 'meatball' rolling:

  • Try mixing different meats with ground beef. Pork is a popular favorite!
  • Add an egg and some breadcrumbs to your meatballs for a different taste and texture, or add some onion soup mix to make them irresistibly delicious.
  • Make meatballs their own side, and drizzle them with sweet and sour sauce.
  • Have a meatball sub sandwich and layer on your favorite fixings.
  • Substitute the ground beef in your chili with small meatballs.
