Snack: ​Chili Cheese Dip

Ingredients

This warm and warm cheesy dip will be a fan favourite. It is a must for gatherings or game-watching parties.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (about 425 grams) store bought chili
  • 1/3 cup tomato salsa
  • 1 package (250 grams) cream cheese, preferably low fat
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • Optional: Chili powder and chili flakes, adjust to your liking

Directions for Preparation

  1. Place the chili and the salsa in a medium saucepan over medium heat. 
  2. Cook, stirring constantly, until it comes to a boil.
  3. Stir in the rest of the ingredients. Cook stirring constantly until the cheese has melted.
  4. Serve with cubes of bread (preferably whole wheat), veggie sticks and nacho chips.
