Main Course: Perogy Casserole

Ingredients

  • large onion, chopped
  • 1 pound (454 grams) lean ground beef
  • 1 bag frozen perogies
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables, any kind
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions for Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 325 °F. Oil a 9” x 13” inch baking dish.
  2. In a frying pan, cook the onion and the beef stirring often until the beef is no longer pink. 
  3. Cover the bottom of pan with frozen perogies. Top with the frozen vegetables and then the cooked beef.
  4. In a bowl, stir together the mushroom soup and milk till smooth. 
  5. Pour the mushroom soup mixture over the casserole. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  6. Bake for 60 minutes.
