Snack: Homemade Cheesy Nacho Chips

Servings: 12-16 crackers

Cooking time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

A healthier snack to satisfy a craving for something salty and crunchy.

  • 2 medium flour tortillas, preferably whole wheat
  • 1 teaspoon non-hydrogenated margarine
  • 2-3 teaspoons parmesan cheese

Directions for Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
  2. Spread each tortilla with ½ teaspoon margarine.
  3. Sprinkle on the parmesan cheese.
  4. Cut each flour tortilla into 8 wedges.
  5. Place on the cookie sheet with the cheese side up.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for 2 minutes.

Serve with salsa to dip into or enjoy on their own.
